Have you gotten HOME delivery lately?

Home delivery is super helpful amidst the new social distancing norms.  Describing what you need and waiting to approve substitutes is how we buy groceries now.  I am providing a similar service to my clients but I am NOT picking out fruits and vegetables!  I am shopping on behalf of two families for a new home, who will not see their home until AFTER closing.  It is a compliment and blind trust in my decision making but the PRESSURE to PLEASE is on MY shoulders. Due diligence is not the term for what I will go through to ensure my buyers are smiling when they enter the front door.  When talking to my broker, Jeff Gongwer, I explained to him that I feel like a home shopper in the grocery store during COVID-19 selecting produce...but for a much BIGGER purchase that they can’t return. This is the first time I actually verbalized how stressful the weight of this responsibility is. And this purchase won’t be delivered easily in one hour but will take 30-45 days working with a team that I have never met in North Carolina and New Hampshire.  I count on building business relationships with ethical, honest, hard working lenders, inspectors, and title companies that have proven that they can get the job done.  So I am thankful I have a network developed here in Central Ohio and now with two different lenders to add as professional friends.

FINAL EXAM

Many of my buyers count on me to list their home when their family grows, the home owners decide to downsize, and/or they relocate to a new destination. The FINAL EXAM…Am I able to list the property, find a buyer, and help the homeowner make a profit? My experience in buying and selling has increased as I have several clients that have moved away and then moved back to Central Ohio more than once. This could be more than a challenge if the move is in a very short time. Experience has been the teacher.

Facetime, video home tours, is hopefully a short term reality, but I am making the best of this situation as I provide the very Best Service
