SUGGESTION from a HOME STAGER

When preparing an older home for sale, I found several doors that needed to be replaced but did not want to “subtract” the character of the property.  My home stager suggested the client visit Columbus Architectural Salvage Antiques & Salvage to look for a door and some glass/porcelain door knobs. The property was quickly ready for market.  

So many great doors here. Headboards for a bed, wall hanging, replace another door, large frame for photo or art…

Great front door over fireplace…going to nowhere??? Always fun to place winter wreath around the holidays.

Our Powder Room is Wallpapered with pages from an OLD BOOK. You can always find something to read.

I Live with An American Picker Fan

George loves to watch American Picker...and then I always have to remind him that something is only worth $$$ the money someone is willing to pay.  On the other hand, I love adding character to our home...note not my transformed property for the market.  When I asked George to go with me for my first trip to Columbus Architectural Salvage Antiques & Salvage, he surprised me with yes.  We had so much fun!

I absolutely love this piece….but where? I can see as a wall hanging inside, above an outdoor fireplace, or a garden???

This bookend is part of some structure…I have spray painted this piece many times.
