A Dream Come True

A few years ago, I was contacted to help a couple make the Downsize MOVE.  The biggest challenge I experience is reducing stress for the sellers.  The number one task is helping them get rid of stuff.  I have witnessed so many sellers go through personal dilemmas, anxiety, and drama as they reduce the amount of their things.  Because of my experiences with downsizers, I try to keep reducing the amount of clutter that we have collected in 44 years of marriage and only one move.  George and I have agreed not to throw anything away without each other’s permission.  I constantly have to remind George that something is only worth what someone will pay for the item. I need to remind myself that my children really don’t want to keep any rewards and/or letters of recognition I have treasured over the years. 

The Dream MOVE

Back to the couple that contacted me for their Downsize MOVE!  No mess and no stress for them.  They sold their current home to their children.  They only moved what they wanted to keep. Now they can still visit the home of memories as well as be freed from getting rid of stuff. They easily and quickly became minimalists.  Oh, to be so lucky!

Seller’s Market
