First Holiday Weekend Home Alone

Family Travel is an Excellent investment

This was our first Easter Weekend to be home alone.  In past years we were traveling for Spring Break with our daughters.  We always went on fantastic vacations as we knew they would still want to go with us as they got older.  They were used to turned down beds with peppermints on their pillows.  They never seemed disappointed not to go with friends because they enjoyed our destinations.  By the way, I always share this family practice with young families...they will still want to travel with you when they are older.  When we are all together many of those memories are shared over and over. I actually remind some of my younger buyers to save some money for family travel as a family investment. You will never by sorry.

Home Alone

As years have passed we usually traveled to see them but this year, well you must know we all stayed home.  As my mother passed in November, we didn’t make our trip to my hometown to bring her treats and make her day.  Yes, we were Home Alone.  When I checked in at our REMAX Office this morning, it seemed everyone looked tired from maybe too much Easter.  I loved hearing their stories.  As they seemed to slowly move around, I could only remember those days with wonderful memories. I didn’t want to even mention I had a 2 hour nap on Easter Sunday.

Plans for Next Year

Although I know I am very lucky that we have each other, that I remembered to purchase my Spiced Jelly Beans and George Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, we are traveling next year and/or having company. It always seems to look Greener on the other side of the fence.
