I have a beautiful listing that gets the same feedback….THE WALLPAPER HAS to GO!  It is just not a small space but a two story foyer that is larger than most great rooms.  Beautiful wood trim, center stairs...a grand entry is the best description.  The owner decided to have all the wallpaper taken down and repainted all walls and a vaulted ceiling.  The job was completed and not a single mark or blemish on any wall.  The change is amazing!  And now to find some type of art to add some interest to the foyer.  Beautiful warm wood tones and a plush, colorful runner going up stairs needed to be featured.  So my search began.

It was time to hang the 2 new pieces that I found.   OH DEAR, I knew how much the owner spent for this update.  Usually I will put several holes in a space before I find THE SPOT. .  This guess and aim…..NO WAY in this perfect space.  MY stager referred me to a handyman that I planned to meet at the property in the evening. This is where my LOYAL BODYGUARD came in handy. George is always willing to come with me when I am meeting someone new. In this process I believe he learns a lot about what I do. For example, the weather was beautiful, the handyman was late, and we met several neighbors as we stayed outside to enjoy the warmer weather. On the way home, he made the remark that I spent so much time with these folks. Interesting, one neighbor let me know she may want to list her home soon, another will let her colleague at work know more about my listing, and now I have created a new team to help me find THE BUYER. All in a day’s work.
