A LITTLE HISTORY

If you know me well, you know I have been a Buckeye for years….a FAITHFUL FAN! I have been attending OSU football games since my Dad purchased 6 season tickets back when I remember taking a little nap before the BEST DAMN BAND came through the tunnel!  The parking lots were full of family and friends that grew friendships as the season rolled on. These Saturdays in the SHOE are still some of my BEST family memories.  I enjoyed being in the student section as I earned my BS and MS from THE OHIO STATE University.  As the years passed on, I was in the last class that could continue purchasing season tickets.  I guided 24 student teachers and returned to my college whenever I was asked. 

TIME and CHANGE

Time did bring change.  Prices went up!  Parking spaces available to us were further from the stadium. Nearby parking lots were full of corporate sponsors and fewer families.  Student seats were not together but spread around the stadium to decrease rowdy behavior.  Students and some older fans seemed to both become disrespectful to each other as students enjoyed standing and older fans needed to sit.  Not as much noise during the Fourth Down…..I noticed some fans too busy to cheer on the BUCKS. May be sitting on their hands???

2022…Next Generation

We have the opportunity to pay additional $$$ for each seat for each game to be able to see the Buckeyes play ball. The decision...it is a family thing. If we have to sit in the OZONE section, I can still hear the BAND, relive the years of family memories, and feel THY FRIENDSHIP O-HI-O!
