Seeing former students is absolutely the best thing about being a retired teacher.  Knowing that they still remember you, seeing their success, and hoping you had some part of their education is the best REWARD.

This Happened One Morning in our Backyard

I am cutting and weeding my flowers as I noticed one of my former students was walking towards me with a big smile.  He handed me a cookie and went back to his golf game.  I do so remember Shaun Stonerook when he was a student at Westerville North High School.  Everyone in our department and the school enjoyed Shaun.  He was quite modest about his athletic accomplishments and always brought humor and sincere care for all. I am chuckling as I write this, just thinking of so many stories.  Two amazing field trips to the State Tournaments will be remembered by all.

Shaun, the owner has kept all the traditions of the Bakery and added more reasons to stop in.  I wonder if the Foods with Flair Course at WNHS helped plant this seed???
