Could a Heirloom Look Lovely in a London FLAT?

This is a photo of a china cabinet that belonged to Grandma Yanok….the one and only original Grandma Yanok from Canton, Ohio.  I am the current Grandma Yanok but called Gaga Yanok by our grandchildren.  Early on this Thursday, movers will be coming to our house to pack up items that Emily and Adrian want in their Flat.  Now I do know….actually got a tour today on facetime….that space is tight!

A Little History

Our girls loved both of their grandmothers but for some reason Andi seemed to be a little closer to Grandma Schmitt and Emily had more in common with Grandma Yanok.  Grandma Schmitt was always on the go with Andi. Grandma Yanok loved to serve Emily tea and toast.  Maybe the love for tea….before she even met Adrian...the man of her dreams?  Grandma Yanok’s China Cabinet was in the corner of her dining room with many treasures.  Some you could see through the glass doors and some were wrapped in plastic left as mysteries.

 Back to the Decision

Wouldn’t Grandma Yanok’s China Cabinet look quite LOVELY in a PROPER place in their FLAT?  This could be used for china, blankets, linens, towels, books, sweaters and the list could go on.  Even for a minimalist, a place to keep essentials. Eclectic is a style that adds interest and tells a story. And the spirit of Grandma Yanok’s tea time could follow to London. I will wait for direction but it is fun to think I can add anything to the shipment. Adrian and Emily are already in London……temptation?
