Time Flies By

Wow, time does fly by!  Just sent a photo to our daughters taken just a few years ago.  Carving pumpkins was only one of the many traditions we had at the Yanok house.  George was always in charge of the carving and I was there to insure safety and clean up.  On Trick or Treat Night, Andi was super protective of Emily who still has a Peanut Allergy.  What a pair!

So after a few minutes I get these photos in a text.  Eli and Evie are our grandchildren that live in California.  Because of the Pandemic we have not been able to see Mike, Andi, Eli, and Evie for a year coming this Christmas.  But we are thankful for all the photos they send of their family and their traditions. Thank goodness for Facetime!

Home for the Holidays!

As we are reminded by our daughters...BE SAFE!  You are of that age and you have a deficient immune system… YOU must be careful of where you go, wash your hands, and please wear your mask.  As of now, the Yanok-Linley clan will be under one roof during the holidays in OHIO.

Should we ask our Santa that makes yearly visits to our house to get a COVID test or a wear a mask over his beard? No Hug for Santa?

Knowing we don’t feel comfortable going to public places, movies, gyms, Legoland…. What can we do to entertain our very special guests?

Should we ask our family members to get tested before they leave their homes or 2 days in a hotel and then tested in Ohio????

We are brainstorming ideas….hikes, family games, cooking ideas, art projects, reading, writing, playing school, story telling, puppet shows, talent shows, scavenger hunt, and many hugs and kisses
